Mesquite Arena Customers Reviews
Great at 73!
Rick Springfield gets the 5 stars.....he puts on a hell of a show! Not a fan of the shirt off at the end. Yes, he is very lean and in GREAT shape...for any damn age. But not a big fan of it. He was fun, his smile and his reaching out to his fans to be part of it all was great!!!!! I would see him again, just not at the same venue.
As for the Meadows venue --- pretty sad that we could not stand at the stage as the security had to tell us to sit down because of the a old fart complaining we were standing in front of them. I was 12 years old when I went to my very very first concert, and it was Rick Springfield. I had the opportunity to be very close to him as I purchased the best seats available at the time (3rd row end seats). The idea that we could not scream and reach for our heart throb was horrible. I am sure it was a disappointment to Rick that he didn't have swooning women on that side of the stage! I heard of a few other fans being treated with meanness, short tempered and impatience from other workers of the venue. Very Very Sad.
